A Kid Again

So here I am, sitting with my friends Karina Barroso and Jeremy Singer, when Jeremy looks at his Facebook. He had been linked to an article by his sister. The Kotaku article lead the three of us to believe that the classic video game characters of Humongous Entertainment would be returning. This is when we all started getting excited. Apparently, Steam would be hosting the games that countless friends and I grew up playing.

I was slightly skeptical. Surely this couldn’t be real. Jeremy logged onto Steam to check if they were there andohmygodSpyFox.

It took every bit of my soul not to squeal in sheer joy. They were, in fact, back.

Waka Flocka Spy Fox.

Putt-Putt: ridin’ dirty.

The Notorious Freddi Fish.

Pajama Sam Tha God.

Each of their debut games are available on Steam for the low, low cost of three-fiddy.

Did you hear that? It’s the sound of all your plans being canceled and all your productivity disappearing.

This is fantastic and I fully plan to beat the first Spy Fox game tonight because nostalgia.

This gets better though.

Not only will Steam be adding new games every few weeks into June, but presumably, this means other rereleases of classics are in order. That’s right, I’m talking about the greatest sports franchise of all time. There is a slight chance that the world may have to prepare for the return of the greatest athlete in American history.

Yeah, I’m a nerd. I don’t care. These games are my childhood. I am who I am.
