It’s impossible not to remember this day vividly. Four year ago the Abington Heights and Clarks Summit community lost a true angel in Kristyn Kromko. She was a lovely girl that had made just about everyone she ever interacted with smile. This is always a sad day when my hometown remembers having a beautiful life cut far too short. Even with this in mind, Kristyn will never be forgotten. To this day on ever interaction I have with a ladybug her name comes to mind. I had been told by her mother after Kristyn passed that she had mentioned me once upon a time and was confident that I “would get out of the chair and walk again soon.” That has stuck with me for four years. She was right too.
God bless you Kristyn. You touched a number of hearts permanently and will always be a part of all of our lives.
