I don’t think we really ever need an excuse to quote Mean Girls, but a tenth anniversary at least is a defendable reason. Do I really need to say that much? If you’ve seen the movie you know what it is: one of the funniest films ever. If you haven’t seen it, what the hell is wrong with you? It’s perfect. Tina Fey is a genius. Yes she came up with 30 Rock and was the head writer for Saturday Night Live for a while, but she has never been better than Mean Girls. She managed to make a movie that will forever remain Lindsay Lohan’s greatest role (unless she pulls a gigantic turnaround soon). She transformed Rachel McAdams into Regina George forever. Gretchen Wieners will forever be Gretchen Wieners because I dare you, I dare you to tell me the actress’s name. Amanda Seyfried became the ditz that has lived on in Tumblr quotes for a decade. Glen Coco will forever go. Amy Poehler even shows off that she’s perfect mom material. The world even found out that Lizzy Caplan is one of the most underrated comedic actresses of our generation. The movie is endlessly watchable and eternally quotable. In the weirdest possible way, Mean Girls is the defining movie for my entire age group. You’d be hard pressed to find someone with a dissenting opinion to that too. Therefore, I don’t need to write you a 4,000 word article about the movie because you already know how awesome it is. So, instead, I’m gonna just put up a video of the best moments from the movie, grab some popcorn, and giggle myself to sleep. Sound good? Great. On three, one, two, thee, team.
