Father’s Day

By: Connor Lenahan

Father’s Day is a chance for me to dedicate an article to two of my biggest supporters not only in writing but life itself. My dad and my grandfather both are avid readers of Unbreakable and both are behind me every step of my life. Every major decision I have made from committing to Boston University to spending a full summer here I have done knowing that they believed it was the right choice. They both believe I can do anything. That’s why I always want to make them proud.

I’m going to be heading home at the end of the week to celebrate the graduation of my brother Chase and my friends in the Abington Heights class of 2014. I’m not just excited to see them, but to also sit around on Sunday afternoon with my dad and Bub and watch golf. It’s relaxing. It’s perfect.

There are few people that have made larger impacts on my life than my dad and Bub. They have taught me many of the lessons that have made me who I am today. They have molded and shaped my personality perfectly – if perfectly can be defined as an unhealthy level of interest in pop culture, Steely Dan, and snack food.

I will never be able to thank them for everything they’ve done to help me become who I am today.

However, I at least can use this chance to share some personal favorite clips for the sole purpose of making my dad laugh.

Happy Father’s Day.
