The United States is the best country on the face of the planet. Fittingly, I am not in it to celebrate its birthday. Nevertheless, I’m sending my love from London. How you ask? By blasting the single greatest rendition of the National Anthem ever sung by anyone. Marvin Gaye. 1983. NBA All Star Game. Freedom. Funk. Democracy. Soul. Everything.
Put this on repeat, eat another hot dog, and blow something up. It’s America day. Celebrate accordingly.
