Yesterday brought good news. Stevie Wonder, one of the greatest musicians in history, is going on tour. Not any old tour mind you – Stevie is playing his entire 21 song classic album Songs in the Key of Life in a select group of cities across the country.

When I saw Boston was on that list for November 11th I screamed like an excited schoolgirl. Why? Because I love Stevie. A lot.

Songs in the Key of Life isn’t my favorite album of his, that would be Innervisions, but the fact remains that Stevie Wonder does not make bad songs. Songs in the Key of Life is amazing. The fact that I can and will see this live in 2014 is amazing.

I’m just going to patiently wait until tickets are available and then hand a blank check to the TD Garden box office with the memo line being “front row, two tickets.”

For the meantime catch me listening to “Sir Duke” on repeat. I advise you to do the same. Because Stevie is coming to town. Throw up your hands and rejoice.
