The Host

I hadn’t even begun to think about who would be a good Oscar host yet. We only just got back into “Oscar Season” with the October 3rd release of Gone Girl. Yet the question was answered before I could ask it. The answer is amazing. Neil Patrick Harris, one of the best humans alive today, is going to be overseeing the ceremonies in early 2015. I hadn’t realized that Harris would be a choice but now it is obscenely clear that Harris is the best choice. Seriously, this guy is amazing. He’s hosted the Emmys and the Tonys (a bunch of times) in the past. He is obviously qualified to do it.
Add in that he’s hilarious as Barney Stinson – and in general – and this projects to be awesome. We all love you NPH. Welcome to the big time buddy.
