Who Likes Turtles Anyway?

Every year since 2006 I have traveled with my family to Penn State to see a game. This year was no different as I flew from Boston yesterday to take in the matchup with the Maryland Terrapins this afternoon. I was overwhelmingly confident that Penn State would win despite the fact that they had lost the last three games.

I was wrong. They lost. Painfully. Maryland drilled a field goal in the closing seconds to beat Penn State 20-19. I was formerly a good luck charm for Penn State. This is no longer the case as I couldn’t bring a victory over a damn turtle.

I need to redeem this. Penn State plays Buffalo next year early. I’ll be buying my tickets tomorrow.
