Thankful

I am not the man I am today without the help and support of my family and friends. From something as small as holding open a door for my wheelchair to as large as helping put me in the right spot I am supposed to be in life, in many cases attending Boston University, I have had someone ready and willing to have my back. For this I am eternally thankful.

To you, the person reading this, I am perpetually thankful that you have given me a reason to do what I love every day and get better constantly. I love doing Unbreakable and the comments and support I get for it mean more than words could ever properly express.

I’m also extremely thankful for my friends within the world of college basketball who have made it possible for me to get deeply involved with such an amazing sport at an incredible program. I am very thankful to formally announce today that I have been picked up to announce some men’s basketball games in addition to my slate of women’s games this year. I had dreamed of getting to announce any game at all before I even moved to Boston. Now, only a year and a half later, I have been blessed with the opportunity to announce both basketball teams, and by doing so, announce some of my best friends in the process. I’m otherworldly thankful for this Sunday which will be another experience in an ever-increasingly unreal life.

I’m thankful and blessed for every bit of my life. Thank you to everyone who has been with me through it all, and a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
