The world is awesome and we now have proof. ABC has the rights to broadcast the NBA and thus the ability to collaborate with the league on special projects. Special you ask? I mean that ABC just signed off on a new buddy comedy set in the actual NBA. It will be based around a rookie in the NBA on the Golden State Warriors, as in the real Steph Curry/Klay Thompson team, who cannot speak English and his translator who doesn’t understand basketball. The fact that this show is happening is reason enough for me to be pumped. But given that the NBA has also produced some of the funniest athletes alive in Thomas Robinson, Damian Lillard, and Kawhi Leonard (who is unbelievably good in the following commercials) I am over the moon excited. Give me this show right now. And let those players into the show too.
