I now have quite possibly the weirdest annual tradition of anyone. On each of the last two Valentine’s Day weekends I have seen Mike Birbiglia perform at the Wilbur Theater here in Boston. Both times it has been a terrific show. I’d expect nothing less, this being because Birbiglia is the comedian I listen to more often than anyone else. He’s unbelievably talented and funny. Best of all, Birbiglia seems like the kind of guy that would be fun to hang around.

I was glad that I could bring my girlfriend Laura LaBrecque to the show last night on our six month anniversary. We both lost it laughing. We were not alone. In fact, introducing Laura to Birbiglia is one of the best decisions I have ever made. That’s why I hope to do the same for you, person reading this. Here is a small sample to get you started:
