Sweet Revenge

With the clock finally having run out in Washington DC tonight it has become official. Boston University swept American University in the regular season this year. Words cannot express how happy this makes me.
American is in every way the in-league rival and enemy number one for the Terriers. Last year the Eagles beat the Terriers on our own floor here in Boston to keep us out of the NCAA Tournament. To say that loss hurt would be an understatement. I would have given anything to get some revenge and beat American. Thankfully, all I had to do was wait.
There have been times where this season has been rough for the Terriers. Losses have come at the end of games. Losses have come more than my previous experience. Losses have come to teams I thought we would beat. But it’s not nearly that bad. Because no losses have come from American. It’s hard to be upset with a season sweep.
