Bears: The Original Party Animals

Bears. What’s not to like? Other than the threat of mauling, bears are cuddly and cute looking creatures. After all, Teddy Bears remain the most famous toy of all time outside of, like, the ball. Plus Teddy Grahams are a criminally underrated snack treat.

Where am I going with this you ask? I wish I could tell you. All I know is that this past weekend I stumbled across a video of a bear belly flopping into a pool numerous times and I watched it on repeat through tears of joy.

Lookadisthing! Is that not the single most happy animal you’ve ever seen? Also, let’s be honest, this bear is better at jumping into pools than I am, and that’s not just a good thing – that’s a great thing. This is a wonderful creature deciding to get the party started. I have no issues with this. In fact, if this is what leads to a Grand Bear Gymboree then allow me to pledge my full support to this cause. These are some heroic bears. Get Cuddles over here a towel, unless he wants to go right back onto his surfboard.
