Pokemon Go

We are still probably a ways away from making real-life Pokemon a reality, but we might have just gotten a fairly decent step towards it. Today the next major Pokemon project was announced to the public, and you’re going to want to sit down for this one. The game will take place, for the first time, in the real world.
Deep breath, it’s nothing like you think it is. The game, titled Pokemon Go, will be of the augmented reality variety. As it stands now the game will operate between your smartphone and a standalone wristband of sorts that will serve as the user’s Pokeballs/other in game items.
There was a trailer released for the game as well which I will link below. However, the game will not at all resemble the trailer – this much is strikingly clear within the first maybe 35 seconds. But if it worked even close to it? New favorite game of all time.
And, to be completely honest, I’ll start playing this game the day it comes out anyway, so may as well start getting excited now.
Pokemon Go is coming in 2016, AKA not soon enough.
