Who knew Christmas was actually going to be on November 27th this year? While most of the country was out shopping to their heart’s content, two of the biggest names in rap decided to treat fans to some free remixes. Best of all, they remixed each other’s songs.

J. Cole had the unenviable, yet exciting task of trying to top and/or match Kendrick Lamar’s effort on “Alright,” which very well may be one of the best rap songs of all time just months after its release. He doesn’t quite reach the same heights, but nonetheless it’s still entertaining. I’m not the world’s biggest J. Cole fan, but it would be wrong of me to say he isn’t extremely talented.

Kendrick, meanwhile, once again made his statement for being the pound-for-pound best rapper on the planet by lighting the world on fire to J. Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Citiez” beat. Seriously, when’s the last time Kendrick released a bad song? Precisely. Enjoy the gifts from these men below.
