Bill Simmons continues to be the most interesting sports media personality in the world. 2016 is going to be an amazing year for him as his media empire sprawls ever further.

We have the currently running and terrific Bill Simmons Podcast, as well as the Channel 33 Podcast. Then there’s Bill’s upcoming HBO show, for which he snagged two former Daily Show people. Finally you have the above, The Ringer.

What’s The Ringer going to be? Not exactly sure, but I’m getting the sense that it’s going to have a semi-similar vibe to Grantland. If that’s the case then this is my favorite story ever, of all time.

I would also like to formally apply to work there. Or intern. Or just get everyone coffee. Or get a Ringer t-shirt. Something. I’m hyped, and you should be too. The Year of Simmons continues.
