Ben Affleck is a Savage

Ben Affleck has been a major player in Hollywood for a while now, but we need to run things back a bit for this video. Do you remember Armageddon? Of course not. Armageddon was the 1998 Michael Bay film that saw Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck play oil drillers trained to be astronauts to combat a meteor. Simple enough right?

Yet this movie posed a central question: Wouldn’t it make way more sense for astronauts to learn how to operate a drill than vice versa? And yes, this is exactly what Ben Affleck brought up to Michael Bay.

It’s hilarious enough to begin with that Affleck would pose this question, but for him to wreck the film on the DVD commentary is the stuff of legend. I love this so very much.
