According to reputable sources in the know with Frank Ocean, the extremely anticipated Boys Don’t Cry will finally arrive this Friday, August 5, 2016. Skepticism is completely fair and valid here – I am still keeping my guard up just in case – but when it’s The New York Times and Pitchfork running the headline suddenly it seems actually real.

In a year stacked with great music from our favorite artists (and Drake’s Views, which is still absolute garbage) Frank Ocean has the opportunity to straight up steal the year. His first album, Channel Orange, is nearly flawless. His second keeps being rumored in the same regard by people working on it.

We are now within hours of having it. Even though it’ll be here two weeks early, I couldn’t get a better birthday gift.
