Football Christmas 2016

In mid-August every year from 2007 on a wonderful day has come again and again. The annual fantasy football draft for the XFL, filled with members of my family and some of my closest friends takes place as we go to war. Today was that beautiful day, and more than any other it was a crazy one.

The top pick was unsurprising (Antonio Brown) while the second was shocking (Cam Newton). I was fortunate enough to get to hop on two bandwagons this year – Julio Jones and Lamar Miller.

And at long last, my boy is coming home. For the sixth time Matthew Stafford will be coming to the Waverly Chargers. Long live my dude, let’s go to war.
