About the Author
Hi, I’m Connor. I’m a Boston University student studying journalism and I write this site daily. There’s probably a few things to know about me that will help you understand my crazy brain.
I suffer from a condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. This means I have brittle bones. I have had ten major broken bones in my life (plus a few other minor injuries that we probably should count but don’t for some reason or another). I tend to write about my condition pretty frequently. It doesn’t define me by any means, but it is a part of who I am. It has made me into who I am today.
I started Unbreakable in 2013 when I was stuck at home with a broken left tibia and fibula. I would write on occasion about sports, pop culture, my life, updates on my leg, and basically anything else that came to mind. I found it to be one of the most fun decisions I ever made.
This led me to challenge myself. Following in the footsteps of one of my idols, Rembert Browne, who posted on his site 500 Days Asunder every day without fail, I wanted to do the same. So on January 1st, 2014 I started writing daily articles.
I write about everything and anything. I might share a story of something dumb that happened to me or something life changing. I might write about my best friends or my family. I typically cover pop culture stuff that I like. Really whatever happens in my little crazy universe.
Hopefully you enjoy it. This is just a way for me to live with all the craziness in my everyday life. I love writing and I love when people will read it. It’s a joy I can’t put words to.
Thanks for letting me do what I love,
Connor
